What is the S.T.O.P. Program?
The S.T.O.P. program is an after school prevention program that helps students with their homework, tutoring, and provide skill building activities. The S.T.O.P. program also offers dance/theatrical productions, individual and group counseling services, educational presentations such as, career days, health education, and gang awareness.
We also offer students incentives for their efforts in our program, such as, monthly STOP Store where they can purchase school supplies, entertainment items, and much more, and we also offer field trips throughout the year.
The main focus of the S.T.O.P. program is to reduce and prevent juvenile delinquency. The program offers students a place after school in which they can stay involved and get help with their studies.

How can I enroll my student in the S.T.O.P. Program?
A student can be referred into the S.T.O.P. program at their school by their parent, teachers, school administrators, or any other school staff, including S.T.O.P. Staff. A referral form must be filled out with information about the student and turned into the S.T.O.P. program. Once it has been turned in, the students eligibility will be determined, if a student is eligible, a meeting will be set up for the parent(s)/guardian(s) to enroll the student.

How do you determine a student’s eligibility for the S.T.O.P. Program?
The only requirement that determines a student’s eligibility when referred into our program is that they cannot be currently on formal probation.
