Community Outreach and Prevention Education
Who We Are
The Community Outreach and Prevention Education Program (COPE) is a regional community education project launched in partnership with The Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC) and the California Health Collaborative (CHC). This project aims to educate the communities of the Inland Empire Region (Riverside and San Bernardino County) and connect them to resources on the topics of Extreme Heat, Water Conservation, and Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN)
Under COPE, the California Health Collaborative helps impacted communities to combat harm regarding the issues of Extreme Heat and Water Conservation. This is accomplished by encouraging community members to develop heat ready plans and access free local cooling centers. Additionally, CHC promotes the usage of rebates intended to support Water Conservation goals and refer individuals to rebate programs through their local resources. To increase accessibility to these essential topics, informational materials can be found through this page.
