Who We Are
The California Health Collaborative was subcontracted by the California Department of Public Health – California Tobacco Prevention Program to assist with the production of the 2027-2028 Tobacco Education and Research Oversight Committee (TEROC) Plan.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Every two years, TEROC updates its strategic plan for tobacco control and prevention. The 2027–2028 TEROC Plan is built around nine main objectives.
The plan outlines TEROC’s strategic goals and serves as a call to action for stakeholders, partners, and allies working to reduce tobacco use and tobacco industry influence in California.
For each objective, the Plan recommends strategies in five areas: policy, education, research, partnership, and funding.
The 2027-2028 plan will be released January 2027.
